A free monthly walk around Rosliston Forestry Centre led by Tony Slater, taking place on the third Sunday of every month. Come along and see what birds you can spot in the Forest this Spring.

Dawn & Dusk Chorus Walks
Date: Sunday, 5 May
Times: 4.30am & 7pm
Join guided a guided walk either at dawn or dusk on National Dawn Chorus Day with Tony Slater, a birding expert at Rosliston Forestry Centre and Queen Elizabeth Diamond Jubilee Woods. Early risers will be treated to a delight for the ears as birds break into song to start the day, whilst at dusk listen out for the calls from waders and duck and maybe a hoot or screech of owls.

Mammal Marathon

An extravaganza of mammal-based activities taking place throughout the weekend at Moira Methodist Church. There is an exciting programme of talks, workshops and fieldwork. A bat talk and walk will take place in the evening, and we will have a Furry Fun Quiz to test your knowledge!

Wildlife Watch Moth Night

Dragonfly Walk

Join the Environmental Education Team for a guided walk to spot adult dragonflies after they have emerged from the pond, as part of an exciting new project to help survey pond life at Rosliston Forestry Centre. Suitable for children over 8 years and adults.
